Yes, I offer a free twenty-minute phone consultation to help answer any questions.

It’s different for everyone and dependent on treatment goals/needs. Some people seek short-term therapy (a couple of months), and other people want long-term treatment. I welcome all needs and goals for seeking therapy!

Yes, I’m paneled with Premera Blue Cross, Lifewise and Regence Blue Shield Insurance. I can provide a superbill that you would then file with your provider for reimbursement for all other insurance providers.

Yes! All online counseling sessions happen through a secure and HIPPA compliant platform.

Beginning therapy can be overwhelming and generate nervousness. I like to tell folks that the initial focus in working together is to know more about you and your background. My focus then is learning the language you speak. What’s brought you here? What are your values? What has impacted you? What are you seeking? We can jump from topic to topic or focus on a particular area of your life - whatever you prefer. There is no one size fits all approach to therapy, and that’s one of the things I love about it! We get to design your treatment and make adjustments along the way. And the most important part - you decide where we go!

For the first 4-6 months, I prefer to meet weekly as there is so much to learn about you. We can make adjustments throughout our time working together.

Typically sessions are 50 minutes. We can make adjustments if you'd prefer to meet for shorter or longer times.

No, I am not a medical doctor and therefore unable to prescribe. Many clients find medication helpful, and others progress without it. If you are interested in psychiatric medicine, you can contact your primary care physician or psychiatrist.

Yes, and I can provide a weekly invoice for sessions.

To avoid being charged for the session in full, I require a 48-hour notice of cancellation. Insurance does not cover sessions that are canceled late. That said, I understand that emergencies happen, and exceptions can be made.
