About
Brittany Casavant
Counseling

I'm a licensed mental health provider with a passion for helping others discover hope and a way forward.

Hi, I'm Brittany.

I'm glad you're here! I received a BA from Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee, which I am indeed a music lover! I obtained my MA in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology in April of 2020. I am a Licensed Mental Health Associate in the State of Washington (MC61056069). I am currently supported by a clinical supervisor and participate in a weekly consultation group. I like to think of myself as a kooky (it's my favorite word) and empathic human. I'm a born and raised midwesterner; through living in different places, I have found that the relationships we have with ourselves and others determine our well-being. From my understanding, then, we get to be in process throughout our whole lives!

It would be an honor to work with you!

Core Values

I believe you are the expert on yourself, that's why I believe in collaborative treatment plans, and working with you to determine how I can best support you.

Core Values

I believe therapy offers us the invitation to do something different — to choose a new way. It is powerful to be seen, known and heard for who you really are.

Core Values

I practice from a perspective that our bodies are vital in the work of healing as they guide us to where the mending is needed.

Methods

When it comes to therapy, there is no one-size-fits-all treatment plan. Everyone is different, and everyone will respond to methods differently. It's my goal to work with you to determine what is best for you! That said, here are a few therapeutic methods I use at my practice:

-Relational Psychotherapy
-Emotion-focused Therapy
-Family Systems
-Attachment Based
-Narrative Therapy
-Multicultural Therapy

Focuses

Depression
Anxiety
Relationship Issues
Trauma
Life Transiitons
Family Conflict
Spiritual or Religious Issues

folks come to therapy for a wide range of reasons and you don't have to have something specific in mind to benefit from counseling! Some concerns clients come in with are:
